In April of this year, developer Bloober Team unveiled that its 2017 cyberpunk noire thriller Observer would be arriving to next-generation consoles. Announcing the updated version to be ‘Observer System Redux’, players can find an evident amount of adjustments and enhancements that is missing from both console and PC versions of the current game.
Only sparing the game will be releasing later this holiday, it is uncertain as to where the team will be exactly launching the title in that release window. And with nearly half a year behind the developer since the game’s announcement, Bloober Team finally resurfaces to share the official release date for the approaching title.
On Twitter, Bloober Team reveals that Observer System Redux will be arriving on November 10 later this fall.
“Observer: System Redux is the definitive vision of the award-winning cyberpunk thriller, rebuilt and augmented for the next generation,” the game’s overview on Steam reads. “Veteran Observers can dive deeper into this dystopian reality thanks to three brand-new side cases to solve. ‘Errant Signal’, ‘Her Fearful Symmetry’ and ‘It Runs in the Family’ add another layer of depth to the game’s story while exploring thought-provoking themes of a future that soon might become our present.
“On top of that, System Redux offers expanded gameplay, which includes new game mechanics, new secrets to find, redesigned stealth, additional neural interrogations, and quality-of-life improvements made with the help of the Observer community.” Conveniently, Observer System Redux is arriving the same day as the Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S.
While Bloober Team is busy with the newest version of its prior work, the studio is also busy with an upcoming Xbox exclusive, The Medium. The firm as of late has illustrated the parallel of two worlds in the coming title slated to arrive later this holiday. You can read the full report by heading here.
