According to a few tweets from the Burnout series developer, Criterion Games, there is currently no new entries or remasters in development. They are currently working on Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission

Its unfortunate for Burnout fans, but its not all bad, they did tweet that they are working on getting Burnout Paradise available on xbox one via backwards compatibility.
