It hasn’t been much of a secret that Call of Duty 2025 will be another Black Ops title which will be a sequel to Black Ops 2. The game will be set in 2035, and its multiplayer will feature remastered maps from Black Ops 2 and new maps.
Data miners have found more features that will be coming to Black Ops 7. The return of Wall Running is likely to happen for this year’s Call of Duty release. This feature had been in previous ‘futuristic’ Call of Duty games.

Wall Running was first featured and gained traction with the release of Titanfall in 2013. Later on, Call of Duty took on the wall-running ability and ran with it.
Black Ops 6 Has Wall Running Now
Data miners have also discovered in the midst of this that wall running with omnimovement exists in Black Ops 6’s files. There are clips of it swirling around online already, with some data miners messing around with the feature.
It’s unclear if this was supposed to be in a future update or entirely scrapped from the game’s development.

An announcement of ‘Black Ops 7’ doesn’t seem imminent right now from Activision and Microsoft. This could be something that happens in the Summer through various teasers and a unique marketing push. It was previously reported that Call of Duty 2025 will have game modes exclusive to the Battle Pass, meaning players will need to spend money to play certain game modes.
