
Kojima Productions is ready to release Death Stranding 2 on June 26, 2025, and players are still enjoying the first game in the series. Today, the developer announced that Death Stranding has reached over 20 million players across PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, iOS devices, and Amazon Luna.
It was during SXSW in Austin, Texas, that Hideo Kojima was joined by Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, and Woodkid for a special panel where Death Stranding 2: On The Beach was present. We received a lengthy trailer for the sequel and more information.
Death Stranding released on November 8, 2019 and it boasts an all-star cast, including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro, and Margaret Qualley. Players assume the role of Sam Porter, a character tasked with reuniting a divided America, rebuilding hope, and re-establishing connections among the last remnants of humanity.
Players can purchase Death Stranding: Director’s Cut on all platforms, which includes any additional content the game has received.
