Disney Infinity 3.0 release date, pre-order bonuses and contents announced

Disney Interactive has announced that the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition starter pack will be released on August 30th, 2015 including the Twilight of the Republic Play Set. The set will include both Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano figures with the following items available on launch day

Kanan Jarrus Star Wars rebels figure

Ezra Bridger Star Wars rebels figure

Sabine Wren Star Wars rebels figure

Tomorrowland Power disc pack

Pre-orders of the game will grant you the Toy Box Takeover game allowing you to use all of your Disney Infinity characters through online multiplayer that will be $19.99 when purchased separately. Players will need to team up and stop Syndrome from using Merlin’s magic wand in worlds such as the Old West, Incredibles, Volcano Lair and Pirates of the Caribbean in either 2 player co-op or 4 player online.

After Toy Box Takeover, the Toy Box Speedway will release this fall. It’s a kart racing game that will take place in worlds such as Sugar Rush, Frozen, Tattoine, Agrabah, Gravity Falls, Halloween Town, Monsters Inc and San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6. Three game modes such as time trial, race and combat mode will put your driving skills to the test. These will be unlocked utilizing a game piece that is placed on the Disney Infinity plate and includes pre-built games.
