DOOM's PC sales figures announced

The latest iteration in id Software’s long running series, DOOM, is seemingly doing quite well on PC.
Steamspy, a Steam stats service based on Web API provided by Valve, revealed that DOOM has surpassed 500,000 on PC. With there being no disclosure from Bethesda in terms of total sales, it is impossible to state how this compares to the console statistics however.
Bethesda are probably hoping for similar results to Wolfenstein: The New Order, considering the similarities between the two games, which sold one million units over its time.
