
As of recent, Konami has proven to be a diverse publisher once again with titles like Super Bomberman Collection releasing alongside the soon launch for Darwin’s Paradox coming later in April. Not to mention the bevy of other titles slated for 2026 like Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 & Silent Hill: Townfall as well.
The firm has also been active with sports simulator games too. Of course, its eFootball series being the most notable. But, the firm has also worked with organizations like World Baseball Softball Confederation for a baseball title. Additionally, it also shipped eBaseball: MLB Pro Spirit for mobile in the past as well.
Now for the greater PC & console market, Konami announces that eBaseball: Pro Spirit is here for PlayStation 5 and Steam officially as a free-to-play experience on both platforms. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“This game is a new title in the “Professional Baseball Spirits” series that specializes in competitive matches. With the catchphrase ‘Come on, world,’ you can form a team with players already available in the game and compete with players from all over the world in real time,” Konami writes in the press release. “While feeling the ‘real stadium atmosphere’ created by the next-generation baseball engine ‘eBaseball Engine’, anyone can enjoy serious games that transcend the boundaries of countries and regions at any time and for free.”
It continues: “This is a new title in the ‘Professional Baseball Spirits’ series that has honed the fun of the game. Equipped with the next-generation baseball engine ‘eBaseball Engine’. The eBaseball Engine not only features the player’s diverse motions, but also creates immersive sound and smooth live commentary expressed through stereo sound.”
