Over the past year there has been a ton of Borderlands rumors especially with Borderlands 3. Next week at PAX East, Gearbox is hosting their major panel with multiple announcements that might include the third installment to the series along with other titles being revealed. Recently, a ESRB rating has been found for the rumored Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can view the rating here.

The rating shows no hints to a potential release date, but we can assume it’d be this year. It’s hard to say what will be announced next week, but we can assume we’ll see multiple Borderlands related announcements along with indie game news and possibly more. Almost a year ago we reported that Microsoft will have the marketing rights to the next title in the series. There has been a lot of chatter about the Nintendo Switch getting a remastered version of a Borderlands title, but time will tell.

Are you excited for the major news Gearbox has planned for next week at PAX?
