Following the many problems that Bethesda’s latest title Fallout 76 faces since the game’s launch three weeks ago, it seems the hole keeps getting deeper for the online only title as fans have discovered that they have been accidentally given access to the game’s support tickets.
Among the problem that allowed users to view the reports from troubled players, this also gave those who had entry to the support tickets to player’s personal information such as contact detail, home address, and even credit card info. Even according to the Reddit user who posted the mishap, used their access to pass on the ticket to reach a resolution for the reported problems.
Most of the problems listed within the many support tickets mainly surround the compensation for the nylon bag shipped with the game’s Collector’s Edition. Though Bethesda did catch on shortly after the incident, this doesn’t help the already tainted reputation the publisher s currently holding.
As the publisher has previously stated to be working to better the game’s current status with two forthcoming updates, this doesn’t go in their favor towards changing the stature currently residing for 76.
Fallout 76 is currently available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
