When it comes to the Fallout IP, things are only turning on higher for the series as more plans are to arrive later this year. This week, the ‘Fallout Day Broadcast’ is set to take place showcasing new details on the series’ current releases. Additionally, one of those we’ll likely get an update on is the Fallout 76 free update ‘Burning Springs’ which bridges the games with the recognized Amazon TV show.

Of course, there is also the television series itself: Fallout Season 2 is set to air on December 17th as the live-action show will return with a weekly run for the new set of episodes. Gathered from showrunners, they disclosed that plans are to run the show for at least five seasons. Thus far, the series is now in New Vegas territory from the trailers show as of yet.

Speaking of Fallout: New Vegas, the hallmark spin-off from Obsidian Entertainment is officially fifteen years-old. Celebrating the title that expanded beyond a planned DLC to a full-on, standalone release does bring excitement in collision with the show later this winter. From the territory that inspired the game’s setting, the Las Vegas Atomic Museum will have its own limited-time Fallout exhibit next month.

“Real-world atomic history meets post-apocalyptic fantasy in the new World of Fallout exhibit,” the page description reads. “Fans of the Fallout franchise will recognize exclusive memorabilia from the Fallout universe, including vault suits, a power armor helmet, and so much more! The new gallery will spotlight these elements while drawing parallels to mid-20th century atomic history and how it inspired art, entertainment, and our imagination.”

The significance of Fallout: New Vegas has been brought to the forefront in recent time thanks to the TV series. It was confirmed the entire game was considered canon with the show’s shared timeline after years of questioning its standing. In 2022, game director Josh Sawyer did express interest for a sequel could see the story go to California, the Midwest, or even New Orleans if ever greenlit under him.
