fbc firebreak

Remedy Entertainment released its newest first-person shooter, FBC: Firebreak, last week on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. Earlier this week, Remedy announced that FBC: Firebreak reached over 1 million players within its first week of release.

This milestone was likely helped by its addition to the PlayStation Plus free games for this month and Xbox Game Pass. The developer hasn’t released the total copies sold for the game yet.

“We know there is still a lot of work ahead of us, and we are super motivated about it,” said Remedy in their post on X (Twitter). “We have a lot of exciting things cooking for Firebreak players!”

Remedy Entertainment will have more news on what will come to FBC: Firebreak. Throughout its first week, the feedback from fans has been mixed, with noticeable negative reviews.

In our review of FBC: Firebreak, we scored it a 6.5 out of 10. “The game’s content is thin, its narrative underdeveloped, and its gameplay loop too derivative to stand out in a crowded genre of cooperative shooters.”

FBC: Firebreak is available to play now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
