Blumhouse has already begun working on the Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 movie and it’s expected to start filming this October. While the first movie was criticized for not being scary enough, Blumhouse confirmed that the sequel would focus more on horror.
Reliable movie insider, DanielRPK has reported that Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 will be rated PG-13 just like the first movie. Regardless of that it’s still expected to have a better approach to the horror genre.

Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is planned to hit theaters on December 5, 2025. It will feature Mangle and Toy Bonnie in the movie just like how the video game series timeline goes with its characters in each game. There haven’t been any other teases besides the animatronics in production.
