With the recent success of the new Five Nights At Freddy’s film, it was almost a guarantee that Blumhouse would be making a sequel and then some. The Hollywood Handle has reported that Emma Tammi will be directing Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and it’s expected to start production in 2024.

The outlet couldn’t confirm if the current cast and crew would be returning for the second, but we should learn more once the production begins. Five Nights At Freddy’s starred Josh Hutcherson as Mike and it wouldn’t be a shocker to anyone that he’d make a return.

Five Nights At Freddy’s became the highest-grossing movie ever for Blumhouse and it was the highest-grossing horror film of 2023. It also made over $230 million since its release to theaters and Peacock on October 27, 2023.

The video game adaptation was not well received by many critics, but despite that, it’s clearly succeeding. There is no clear window on when the sequel will be released.
