Turn 10 Studios hosted a Forza Monthly for July 2023 with Creative Director Chris Esaki where they take an in-depth look at new driving mechanics, tire physics and more in Forza Motorsport. One of the topics they touched on was the development focus for Forza Motorsport’s launch on October 10, 2023.

The focus for Turn 10 is circuit based racing at launch and despite having drag tires and drift suspension in the game, there won’t be Drag or Drift modes in the upcoming Forza Motorsport at launch. It will be a focus for the team after the game releases. Chris Esaki shares these details around the 13:40 minute mark of the video.

In the Forza Monthly they talk about other details for Forza Motorsport and go one to talk about Forza Horizon 5. In other Forza related news, Microsoft seems to be planning to release a Forza Motorsport themed Xbox controller codenamed “Jemez”.

Forza Motorsport will release on Xbox Series XlS, PC and Xbox Game Pass day one.
