God of War: Ragnarök sells over 5.1 million copies in its first week

Santa Monica Studios and Sony announced that their latest first-party hit, God of War: Ragnarök sold over 5.1 million copies at launch making it the fastest selling launch in PlayStation history. This also sets a new God of War franchise record and as a comparison to its predecessor in 2018, that sold only 3.1 million in the its first three days.

God of War: Ragnarök is a once-in-a-generation experience and at Rectify Gaming we gave it a solid 10/10 in our review.

Not only is God of War off to a great start, but Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is setting records for a Nintendo Switch launch title selling 10 million copies in its first three days of worldwide release.
