Today, Take-Two Interactive during their earnings calls for the last quarter ending December 31st, 2014, the publisher shared that the highly successful ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ has now shipped over 45 million units on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. The company also shared that 10 million of those were on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 showing the popularity of the new high-powered consoles. Rockstar Games has also confirmed that the PC version of the game will launch on the 24th of March this year.

Take-Two saw revenue jump to $954 million, an increase of almost $200 million in comparison to last year. The net income went up to $211.6 million also. The largest part coming in from Grand Theft Auto V and it’s online counterpart (Shark Cards for GTA Online). The revenue from digital content grew 64% year-over-year to $217.2, again Grand Theft Auto being a huge part of that along with NBA 2K15 and the highly successful Borderlands series.

Take-Two Interactive are off to a very strong start for 2015 plus with Evolve, GTA V on PC and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Spring is looking very promising for the company.

In a statement by the companies CEO, Strauss Zelnick told investors that “With our world-class creative teams, robust development pipeline, cutting-edge technology, and ample capital resources, Take-Two is superbly positioned to build on its solid foundation and continue to capitalize on this dynamic entertainment market.” It definitely sounds like Take-Two Interactive are pleasing Investors and have lots up their sleeves for the coming months and even, years.
