GTA Online Adds New ‘Kortz Center’ Heist In Its Latest Update Today

Throughout the gaming sphere, it is public knowledge about pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI going live a few weeks back. What was an even bigger surprise is that the highly-anticipated release will be fully digital. Despite the series expanding its reach with physical releases, the new entry will end that tradition. Reports even indicate there are “no plans” post-launch to appease to the loud fans looking forward to physically owning the game.

As for the plans premature to the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games has been issuing sizable updates to GTA Online. Back in December, the ‘A Safehouse in the Hills’ update rolled out a bookend for Michael de Santa’s story and finally added mansions to GTA Online. The following May welcomed the ‘Rockstar Mission Creator’ which opens a new category for users to create their own levels for the online mode.

Now this week after years since the last heist shipped for GTA Online, ‘The Kortz Center Heist’ is officially here for GTA Online. You can watch the update launch trailer in the video below:

“The Bell Building inside the Kortz Center houses the Albert Crisp Collection: a curated selection of fine art ranging from antiquities of exotic provenance to works from contemporary masters. Mr. Faber’s clientele are interested in a rotating selection of Primary Targets stored inside the Center’s vault, too rare and prized to display to the public,” the overview for the update reads.

“While the Primary Target is the main attraction, the vault and displays in the Bell Building also contain discretionary Secondary Targets that can be swiped to fatten up your final take. Stealing these will require you to infiltrate the Center’s security even further, and some will require additional hands along with ample bag space to depart with your haul intact.”

Properties & mansions are also to receive renovation options to launch The Kortz Center Heist. “Upgrade your Mansion with the Art Studio, a versatile new space that serves as your base of operations for this Heist. Once acquired, expert counterfeiter Yong-Rae will begin creating convincing replicas to replace your Primary Targets so that Kortz Center staff will be none the wiser.”

Adding: “Plus, many existing properties and resources can provide helpful benefits while you’re in the heat of the Finale. Owning a Bunker adds Special Ammo and Upgrades to the Mk II weapon included with the Mansion Armory, while owning an Agency, the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory, or a Terrorbyte grants additional time to steal the Primary Target Painting in the Vault. Having an Arcade Drone Station will make its Nano Drones available to assist during the Finale.“
