Regarding the ongoing campaign of additions for Dead by Daylight, fans at the beginning of the summer indulged in a crossover pack for Resident Evil. Noted, 2021 marks the 25th anniversary for the franchise, publisher Capcom used that opportunity to celebrate with a collaboration with Behaviour Interactive to feature elements of the series in the online horror title.

Upon its initial reveal, Behaviour Interactive left players questioning what exactly will be featured in the experience in terms of the killer especially. But with the later release date trailer that followed after, Resident Evil 3’s Nemesis was shared to fill that spot alongside Jill & Leon to be the update’s survivors for Dead by Daylight.

In a recent teaser for Dead by Daylight from Behaviour Interactive, many question what exactly the team is hinting at for its next reveal. But, despite some good guesses, Behaviour Interactive outright confirms that Hellraiser’s Pinhead is to be the next addition to Dead by Daylight. You can watch the teaser trailer in the video below:

“A demon to some, an angel to others. Pinhead is an explorer in the further regions of experience, indulging in the limitless thrill of pleasure and pain,” Behaviour Interactive writes. “When the puzzle box known as the Lament Configuration—a key to another dimension—was found in The Entity’s realm, it was only a matter of time before it fell into curious hands. Once opened, he arrived. What came next was sweet suffering that spilled over the realm.”

Certainly this is not the first horror film franchise to bridge into Dead by Daylight. Previously, the team at Behaviour Interactive featured Scream’s Ghost Face to be a killer which grew excitement for fans of the game and the movie series as well. You can read the full report by heading here.
