Hitman 3 is getting a name change to Hitman World of Assassination

Today, IO Interactive announced that Hitman 3 is getting a name change come January 26, 2023 to “Hitman World of Assassination.” It will include Hitman 3 + Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass and Hitman 2 Standard Access Pass.

This move favors the customer in this situation since it simplifies the purchase experience for new players. Now, Hitman World of Assassination will be the single available option to start playing.

“Essentially, these two changes will mean that all new players and existing HITMAN 3 owners will have the same base content ownership. There will be no more confusion over which edition to buy, what content you own, how to redeem Legacy packs or import locations, etc. We’re done with that.”

The value that Hitman World of Assassination comes with is equivalent to $70.00 USD which is the new average price for this current generation.
