Insider reaffirms Final Fantasy XVI will come to Xbox in 2025

Final Fantasy XVI since it released in June 2023 hasn’t met Square Enix’s expectations after it was only on PlayStation 5. It was only recently that the latest Final Fantasy title launched on PC. The question still remains for many fans is whether Final Fantasy XVI will come to the Xbox platform.

Earlier this year, reliable insider Shpeshal Nick revealed the Final Fantasy title will be making its way to Xbox Series X|S. It has not been many months since that claim was made with no official announcement yet from Xbox or Square Enix.

Recently on X (Twitter), eXas1s who has been reliable for a lot of the leaks this year reaffirmed that Final Fantasy XVI will arrive on Xbox Series X|S in 2025. He also suggests there is no active work on the Final Fantasy VII Remake coming to Xbox.

Tokyo Game Show is currently happening and to begin the show, Xbox held a presentation. In that presentation, Square Enix had a large presence by bringing the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, Trials of Mana, and Legend of Mana to Xbox Series X|S.
