Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has already been released for a year and developer Insomniac Games confirmed at New York Comic Con that it will be coming to PC in January 2025. In that same announcement, it was confirmed that no Story DLC is planned for Spider-Man 2.
“While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version, including New Game+, new suits and color variants, Photo Mode features, and more.”
This announcement does seem to be a little bit of a surprise as Marvel’s Spider-Man release for PlayStation 4 received story DLC ‘The City That Never Sleeps’. However, Insomniac Games is probably shifting its focus to other Spider-Man projects and the Wolverine title.
This isn’t the end for Spider-Man 2 as costume collaborations are on the way, but this isn’t necessarily a major addition to the game.
How do you feel about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 not receiving Story DLC?
