What’s the best way to train the employees to fry a chicken? Apparently, KFC thought a VR app would help its employees get a faster training on how to fry food. This is not the first time KFC does something…odd. Back in July, they teamed up with Mountain Dew to create Gamer’s Box 2.0 that comes with a can of soda, and the sides of the box are legitimately a game controller. The top has a spot for your phone, so it’s like a greasy, bulky Switch for use only with mediocre pay-to-play games.
The press release notes say this new employee training game exercises employees to cook chicken in ten minutes as a counter to cooking in twenty-five minutes it takes in real life. Our guess is KFC wants to train everyone at their company to cook every fried chicken perfectly without wasting any food.
