The kickoff of Season 2 for Dragon Ball Fighter Z came off strong with the introduction of Videl, Jiren, Broly, and most recently with Kid Goku GT more than a month ago now. As we lean closer to the halfway mark of 2019, more speculation leading towards the final character drop for the fighter’s roster looks to be this coming E3 or later this Summer at EVO 2019 from Bandai Namco.
According to the most recent This Week on Xbox, we might have a good idea on who might be the final appearance for the game’s growing cast of characters. During a segment in celebration of Goku Day last week, Xbox’s Major Nelson seems to slip up a potential fighter that has yet to be officially announced for the 2018 title.
To celebrate, today you can get GT Goku and Janemba skins for Dragon Ball Fighter Z.
For why Hyrb mentioned the Fusion Reborn antagonist is left in question as he is reading off a script for the piece. As for how true this precisely is, it’s hard to determine as no further information stands besides his statement. Looking at the partnership between Microsoft and Bandai Namco to market the title, the company could already have the information at hand to reveal, but just at the wrong time as we already see.
Other possible reasons could be that the publisher anticipated the character’s reveal before May 9th , adding it to the segment. Take this information as just a rumor until official word comes from Bandai Namco on the last added fighter.
Dragon Ball Fighter Z is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Skip ahead to the 3:20 mark to view the Goku Day segment.
