Since Red Dead Redemption originally released, many fans have waited patiently for the western-based title to come to PC, but the day never came. And with the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2, many were hoping this time around we might see this title play on PC. And players might finally be able to according to this recent leak.
On Reddit a member of the TGFG, who’s also known for finding the hidden alien Easter egg mission in Grand Theft Auto V, have discovered that the upcoming title is in the works for PC. On the official LinkedIn of a developer for a Rockstar programmer, the game is listed for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. And many fans did not see this coming.
With Grand Theft Auto V already being available on PC and showing its growing success on the platform gives the developer how much of a demand for their titles on PC. But for Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC, when will it happen? From what we can guess it will be similar to GTA, most likely after the initial release on consoles. As how GTA V launched on PC with the amount of bugs and how players were able to abuse mods online, Rockstar would want to work on having that situation repeat for when this game releases on PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available for Xbox One and Playstation 4 on October 26,2018.
