Paramount and Anonymous Content have recently announced a partnership with Electronic Arts. They are currently working on the rights for a Battlefield TV show. The show is in its very early stages, but this marks the first time both Paramount and Anonymous have dipped their toes into video game content.
Anonymous’ Michael Sugar and Paramount Television President Amy Powell see the long running Battlefield fan base and obviously noticed it once they revealed Battlefield 1 when the trailer broke records on Youtube, which makes it a “highly coveted piece of IP primed for long-form adaptation.”
What are your thoughts on this possibility?
