Ninjala To Receive Open Beta On April 28 Next Tuesday

Just over a month ago, Nintendo revealed the next slew of independently-developed titles that are expected to ship to the Nintendo Switch in the coming months with this year’s first Indie World presentation. Among some of the exciting reveals that took place, GungHo Online Entertainment’s Ninjala stood out among the rest with its colorful, multiplayer havoc that players can indulge in.

While the team has showcased a little of the game so far it the initial announcement trailer, the Japan-based team has showcased two Developer Diaries giving interested fans a closer look at the game. During the second video showcasing the combat system and intuitive elements during a fight, Ninjala Writer Kazuki Morishita and Director Motoki Kaneda revealed that there will be an open beta for the game coming at the end of the month.

Adding more context to the approaching open beta, Morishita explains that the playtest will only include gameplay elements that were showcased so far from the developer diaries which will not reflect the full game. “Some functions are limited but you will be able to get the feel of what we have explained today.”

As for the timeframe of the beta, there will be three determined sessions that players will be able to participate in. On April 28, users can join starting at 12:00 – 12:59 PM PST and later at 8:00 – 8:59 PM PST. The last sessions commences the following day on Wednesday April 30 and runs from 4:00 4:59 AM PST.
