Nintendo has confirmed there will be a Nintendo Direct this June and it will feature the Switch games lineup for the latter half of 2024. This announcement comes from President of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furukawa after he said the company will reveal the Switch successor by March 31, 2025.

A time or date for the Nintendo Direct has not been confirmed, but if we were to predict it could be the second week of June. On June 7, Summer Game Fest will have its long presentation of game announcements. Days later will be Ubisoft Forward and the Xbox Showcase and if Nintendo follows its tradition we could see a Direct on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

As for what games will be announced during this Direct remains to be seen. We could see the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition for the Nintendo Switch that was rated by the ESRB. Before the digital presentation takes place, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remaster will have launched for the Switch.

There will be a lot of questions for the upcoming Nintendo Direct since we are expecting a new console in less than a year.
