President of Nintendo America, Reggie Fils-Aime celebrated his birthday yesterday and also talked to Fox News about Nintendo’s plans for E3 2017.
This was the first time the company has talked about their E3 2017 plans, and it seems the Switch’s release will not stop Nintendo from putting on a show. According to Reggie, “we’re gonna have a big E3 this year”. He says Nintendo will be “showcasing a variety of games”, although Reggie did say he won’t reveal what they are. However, he did say that E3 will be a “major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch, but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS”.
They haven’t stated on whether they’ll be doing a conference or another direct to show off their upcoming titles, but we should find out within the next few months.
