Today, Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo gave the world its first look into the brand-new Nintendo Museum in Kyoto, Japan. It was announced the Nintendo Museum will open on October 2, 2024, with drawing entries now available for October and November 2024 tickets.
The Nintendo Museum will feature the history of the entertainment that Nintendo has been offering through the many products it has released from Hanafude to Nintendo Switch. In the Direct, Miyamoto gave a glimpse of what to expect.

At the museum, you will of course see the history of each Nintendo console including various editions of those consoles and the biggest games to release. There will be interactive exhibits where you can uniquely play the classic Nintendo consoles even with life-size versions of the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Wii controllers.

Of course, the Nintendo Museum will have a café with special drinks and food items. You also can’t have a museum without a shop and Nintendo made it clear there will be one themed after Nintendo’s game worlds and characters.
