Nintendo releases Switch 2 compatibility verification website

On Sunday evening, Nintendo released a website where users can check the compatibility of a Switch game for the Switch 2. The website provides information for both physical and digital versions of Nintendo Switch games.

When searching for a game, it will let you know the behavior of the title on Switch 2 and if it’s consistent with Switch. 

For example, if you look up Rocket League, it will confirm that the game is supported and its behavior is consistent with Nintendo Switch. 

Now, if you look up a game like Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, it will say the “Game behavior may vary from Nintendo Switch.”

In other news, Nintendo has been releasing more apps as of late. They recently released the Nintendo Store app, which allows you to shop for digital games, keep up to date on the latest news, and you can check your play history of games over the last 10+ years.
