Recently we’ve seen success with Pokemon GO on Android and iOS breaking records as one of the best mobile games available. We’ve seen Super Mario Run get 78 million downloads on iOS alone. Well Nintendo have announced that they will release two to three mobile games every year. Nintendo will release Fire Emblem Heroes tomorrow on iOS and Android, and Animal Crossing will now arrive April at the earliest. Nintendo hasn’t yet announced any other mobile titles so it remains to be seen whether the company will make it to that third game in 2017.
I still believe that the Animal Crossing mobile game will come in early 2018 as there are games yet to be announced for the Switch that could come out in late 2017 such as a new Pokemon, Super Smash Bros, and of course we know Mario Odyssey is coming.
