Polish-based studio Bloober Team just finishing up on the recent release of Blair Witch last fall is already planning to disclose more information on the developer’s next project. According to a new, brief announcement from the team, the developer is retruning to the Observer series with a new game.
Titled Observer System Redux, Bloober Team released an abrupt teaser of the title teasing the naming for the game. Alongside what we can expect the title to be called, Bloober Team also disclosed that this project is also aimed to release on next-generation hardware. You can watch the teaser trailer in the video below:
The developer shares that more to be said on the matter of System Redux in the coming future.
Following the universe set for Observer, you play the titular role to hack into the minds of likely convicts and criminals. As you dig deeper into the minds in favor of the police force of this dark age for modern technology, you begin to question the fabric of reality as you tap into the wellbeing of those who have gone over the edge.
Observer initially released for console back in 2017 and the reception of the game follow suit swayed for a release onto the Nintendo eShop later on in 2019. Alongside the two mentioned properties, Bloober Team is also responsible for the duo Layers of Fear and the recently released sequel Layers of Fear 2.
What do you think might be planned for this next gen release for Observer?
