Over the last 12 hours, internal emails and documents regarding Microsoft’s future plans and discussions have been leaked out including the mid-generation Xbox Series XlS refresh making a Digital-Only version of the Series X along with other features. The next generation of Xbox is planned to release sometime in 2028 according to these documents.
It was recently revealed through an internal email that Xbox Chief, Phil Spencer purchased a PlayStation 5 and it was force bundled with Horizon Zero Dawn Phil explains he had no choice but to buy that PS5 Bundle at $50 more than the regular price of a standalone PlayStation 5.
It’s no surprise that top executives of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo purchase their competitor’s new console since many of them are gamers themselves. And it’s also possible they’d like to see what their competitor is up to with their new device.
