
In early December a sudden announcement rolled out from BioWare that their upcoming sci-fi shooter Anthem will be hosting demos for the February released title in the new year. Fans seeing how previous test sessions were held for titles like Fallout 76, player progression was able to carry over, but the same won’t be for Anthem.
Recently Michael Gamble revealed some insight on how the upcoming online demo sessions will be handling player progression. On Twitter the game’s Lead Producer in response to a fan’s question regarding content and level progression for the forthcoming demos, Gamble stated that player progression will not “be carried into release”.

Among the upsetting news revealed, Gamble also stated that players will be able to partake in missions, one stronghold, and other activities. Regardless of the disappointment players have been faced with, Gamble does clarify that progression won’t be support from either the January or February demo is due to kicking off the playtest at level 10.
