Right before the transition to February earlier this year, PUBG Corp. shipped then’s latest Season update for the game on PC and later for consoles. The content update included the newest locale Karakin with destructible buildings and the winged motor gliders. Now just three month since players have been introduced to more for the battle royale, the team is back to officially unleash the next big season for the game.
Earlier today PUBG Corp. released a gameplay trailer for Season 7 which reintroduces the pre-existing location Vikendi with new attributes to refresh the already fan-favorite map. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
The most notable addition to the previously-introduced location is the new train that runs its trials through the map and will take down anyone who happens to step in its way. Similar to how Apex Legends introduced its own locomotive during the debut of Season 3, people can utilize the rail-dependent vessel to conquer the map and extinguish antagonizing players in creative ways, as the trailer has shown.
Other visually-tangible adjustments to Vikendi like the snow associated with the map has been dusted off this time around. Certain regions of the location such as Mount Kreznic is now labeled Abbey while other locales have been added like Hot Springs east of Cantra, Cargo Depot south of Trevno, and Pilnec on the border of Winery.
Taken from the trailer, Season 7 will also introduce a collection of Dinoland-themed cosmetics that players can unlock or pick up when purchasing the respected Survivor Pass. Cold Front as of writing is out now alongside Season 7 for PC. Console versions on Xbox and PlayStation are said to receive the update next week on April 28.
