Back during this year’s E3 event held in Los Angeles, developer/publisher Rebellion announced at the annual PC Gaming Show that the fourth installment of the Zombie Army series will be coming sometime at the beginning of next year. Sharing a trailer of the game alongside some gameplay for the new title, the only thing missing was an official release date for the game.
Now that wait is over as the team has finally revealed the set date which will fall in the first week of February. Doing this through a new trailer for the game, Rebellion unleashed a whole new batch of fresh gameplay for the approaching action shooter. You can watch the new trailer below:
Introduced in the trailer reveals a new adventure for the band of four to experience as you must fight your way through hordes of resurrected victims from the Second World War. The upcoming game now utilizing the stronger hardware of this generation in contrast to the console port of Zombie Army Trilogy back in 2015, you can witness more reanimated corpses in larger groups fighting their way to the player.
This trailer also features some new enemies that players might not recognized from the original trilogy also which does darken the tone for the Winter-aimed release title. In one segment of the video, there is also a zombified shark that the player can use to reanimate towards killing off the incoming undead hordes.
And alike every game that comes out, there is also a slew of different pre-order editions that players can decide to pick up when paying ahead for the game: announcing the Zombie Army 4 Deluxe Edition, Super Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Both deluxe editions share to offer a list of cosmetic, weapon, and character packs ; the super version however includes an addition of three new levels to play.
The meat of the three is the Collector’s Edition which will offer physical goodies like a 60-paged art book, specialized steelbook, and a 10-inch model of the zombie shark. Pricing for the game starts at $49.99 for the Standard Edition, $59.99 for Deluxe, $79.99 for the Super Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition price has yet to be disclosed up reporting.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be available on February 4, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
