In a abrupt surprised that was revealed at QuakeCon last month, publisher Bethesda announced that the original Doom trilogy (Doom, Doom II, Doom 3) will be receiving a port for modern consoles and that the games will be available at the same time of the announcement. The titles only being charged for $4.99, aside from the third installment being $9.99 currently, this seemed to be quite the treat from Bethesda.

However, things did not go as smoothly as we might have expected as shortly after the game’s debut on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch, players have discovered to be halted by a sign-in option when booting the respected title they just purposed which could not be bypassed to play the game. Bethesda disclosed to be working on this fix soon as the issue became a public matter.

Now nearly three months later, Bethesda has finally resolved the problem and players are now allowed to play either of the classic titles without being forced to sign-in to their Bethesda account.

Not tot long following the trilogy receiving updated versions for this current line of video game consoles, a listing for Doom 64 has also appeared on Europe’s PEGI rating organization. Although the 1997 title is currently listed for PlayStation 4 & PC, it is expected that Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will receive its own respected ports the same time the game properly gets announced.

What Doom titles have you purchased of the three?
