Red Dead Redemption 2 is launching October 26th 2018

Today, Rockstar have announced that they delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 to this fall and it will release on October 26th 2018. The developers are taking their time to polish everything up so the game is as best as possible.
“We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.”
It’s not surprising a game like Red Dead 2 would be delayed, but we can assume this game has the potential of being one of 2018’s best.
