After the very enticing announcement of Warner Bros. Montreal’s Gotham Knights, the Batman Arkham series’ team Rocksteady Studios has finally unveiled Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Earlier this month, the English developer officially poked at the announcement with a poster illustrating the Man of Steel branded by a pair of crosshairs aimed at his head.

Now just moments ago at DC Fandome, Rocksteady Studios presented the first trailer for the game to give anticipated players just a glimpse as what can be expected in the full game. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Taken that the footage is only a CGI presentation, Rocksteady Studios’ Game Director Sefton Hill took the stage to give viewers more insight on what exactly will arise from the coming project. “Suicide Squad is a unique new franchise for gaming and we’ve been able to put our own spin on it and create something special,” Hill shares loosely elaborating on the game’s foundation.

When speaking with presenter Will Arnett, Hill does disclose more enticing information on the title. One being that players will have the opportunity to control all the members of the Suicide Squad from the trailer (Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerange, King Shark) at any time. Either it being in battle or simply traversing the new setting of Superman’s home turf Metropolis, you can take the wheel of all the villains. Users are also told to have the power to change to either of the heroes whenever they want also.

And alike what fans have been predicting since the poster was publisher, you can also play up to four players in the new experience also. But if that is not your cup of tea, you can still play solo if that is your choice. As for the game’s playable roster, it is presumed that Rocksteady Studios will spare more on other Suicie Squad members that will be available as we approach closer to the game’s release.
