Rumor PS4 exclusive God of War is set for a September 2017 release

Another fresh rumor of God of War’s release date has come out on the web this week, with retailer Gaming Replay claiming the hotly anticipated action-adventure game will launch exclusively on PS4 this September.
The Portuguese outfit has God of War listed for release on September 14, 2017, which does seem a little early considering we’ve heard next to nothing on the game since its unveiling at E3 2016. However, Sony could come out with a different date in at their E3 briefing which will be Monday, June 12th. 
The God of War franchise debuted on the PS2 back in 2005 and remains one of Sony’s most commercially successful franchises, spawning numerous sequels spanning the PS2, PS3 and PSP. Back in 2015, the format holder issued a remastered version of God of War 3 for the PS4.
