Corrupted Ebisugaoka Walkthrough

Discover everything you need to know about the Corrupted Ebisugaoka walkthrough in Silent Hill f, including how to progress in it.

Corrupted Ebisugaoka in Silent Hill f is a late-game area where you encounter Birthing Monster multiple times, along with Fog Monster. It’s essentially a twisted, corrupted version of the earlier Ebisugaoka Town zones, but far more hostile. Your objective is to proceed to the Worship Hall and return to the Shimizu Residence to progress in this chapter.

Healing items and other resources play a crucial role while traversing Shimizu Residence. The streets twist into a maze of collapsing ground and aggressive monsters. You will encounter Birthing Monster, Drum Monster, Glowing Monster, Kashimashi, and Vomiting Monster while progressing. Minibosses like the Drum Monster and Birthing Monsters patrol the areas. In this guide, we’ll discuss how to progress in Corrupted Ebisugaoka in Silent Hill f, including how to defeat Birthing Monster.

Chase After The Fog Monster

Chase Fog Monster

Get ready to chase after the Fog Monster after the cutscene commences. Defeat the enemies in front of you before moving forward. Move to the path on the right and tackle more enemies over there. Pick Ramune from the east side with the kitchen knife. Replace it with the weapons that are not in good condition. Keep moving down the path and encounter the Glowing Monster in this area.

The monster has fast-paced mechanics and can deal massive damage in combat. Its fast movement speed allows it to move around too much. Dodge its attack and counterattack it with a heavy attack. When the monster’s glow fades, you get an opening to attack it. Move down the path and tackle more enemies in the path after defeating the Glowing Monster.

Unlock the Path

Unlock path

The path that you want to go through is somehow blocked. Eliminate the Birthing Monster to unlock this oath. Collect the Red Capsule and a Bandage from the right side before engaging a fight this monster. Eliminate the smaller enemies first and then focus on the Birthing Monster.

The Birthing Monster will cough up blood and spit acid. You must dodge it when you see it coming. It also roars and screams, which stuns you if you get too close. If any cocoons become monsters, kill them first so they don’t distract you.

Since the Birthing Monster is slow, you can dodge, land hits, then back off to avoid its ranged attacks. Press R2 for a counter if you see a red glow around it. Once you defeat the Birthing Monster, don’t forget to perform Soul Siphon. Killing the Birthing Monster allows you to unlock the path ahead.

Move in the path and interact with the shrine to save your progress. However, you need to first defeat the enemy near the shrine to interact with it. Get your hands on the axe near the shrine and the enemy.

Keep Following the Path

Explore Corrupted Ebisugaoka

Keep moving ahead and avoid all the enemies in this area. The enemies are too many, and fighting them isn’t worth it. Continue running on the path till you encounter the Fog Monster. However, it will disappear, and the Birthing Monster is nearby, and the path is also blocked. Make sure to pick a baseball bat on the left side of the house. Defeating the Birthing Monster allows you to unlock the path.

Follow the path and move to the right from the blue truck to get your hands on the bandage, a Crowbar, and an Ema. Get inside the blue truck to get the Red Capsule. Upgrade any attribute by interacting with the shrine using Ema.

Return and go to the right to pick up the Kitchen Knife from the left side. Collect the Yokan from the right side and an Antique Comb from the box ahead. Keep following the path till you find Fog Monster again. This will disappear again this time, and you need to fight the Birthing Monster again.

Attack the cocoons first and then focus on other enemies. Eliminate the Glowing Monster and the Kashimashi to start a fight with the Birthing Monster. Defeating these monsters allows you to gain access to the path that was blocked.

Pick up the crowbar from near the well if your weapon breaks or is in bad condition. Locate the toolkit and red capsules from there. Move to the west path from the well, and a cutscene will appear on the screen.

Progress in Worship Hall

Hinako will find herself back in the Dark Shrine after the cutscene ends. Move ahead to trigger another cutscene. Hinako and Fox Mask will perform a ritual to change Hinako into a different creature. You will not change into Shiromuku and move back to the corrupted Fog Town. Shiromuku takes over and transforms into Fox, as the old Hinako fades away from existence.

Move To Shimizu Residence

Shimizu Residence

Your objectives get updated once the cutscene ends. Make your way back to the Shimizu Residence. Follow the path straight till you find Hinako’s doll. Don’t go that way is a message that appears if you interact with it. Defeat all the enemies while progressing through. The doll disappears after eliminating the enemy. Move to the path on the left and collect the items.

It’s best to destroy the cocoons you encounter. You will find the doll again while exploring and interacting with it provides another message. Defeat the enemies that appear in this area, and the doll will disappear from there again.

Continue moving up the mountain and encounter the Drum Monster. Use Bestial Form to defeat this monster and take the stairs to move upward. Move around the house and interact with the shrine to save your progress. You will find the doll again while progressing.

Interact with it, and multiple enemies will appear on the screen. Defeat all of them, and the Drum Monster will come at the end. Collect all the items from this area and keep moving up the mountain to locate Shimizu Residence. A cutscene will commence, and the Corrupted Ebisugaoka (Chapter 12) ends here.

Hi, I’m Ali. I started gaming with Max Payne, and it set the tone for my interest in darker, more immersive experiences. I mostly play soulslikes, RPGs, and FPS titles that focus on tight mechanics and pacing.

I have a strong appreciation for game soundtracks and how they shape the overall experience. I’m also a long-time horror fan, across both games and films, with a preference for atmosphere-driven storytelling. This space reflects that passion, exploring games through both their mechanics and the atmosphere they create.
