Konami announced that Silent Hill f has sold over 1 million units worldwide as of September 26, 2025, just a few days after its release. The game was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 25.
Silent Hill f sold 1 million units faster than the remake of Silent Hill 2 last year, which reached the milestone in just a week. Konami said it’s growing at an even faster pace in each region, including Japan.
Here is an overview of Silent Hill f via Konami:
SILENT HILL f is a new psychological horror game set in Japan, the first in the “SILENT HILL” series, created with a realistic and immersive story and design based on the concept that “beauty is horrifying.” Players take on the role of Hinako Shimizu, a high school student living in Ebisugaoka, as she explores a town shrouded in fog and undergoing a horrifying transformation, solving mysteries and fighting to protect herself. As she fights to survive, Hinako faces choices that will determine her own fate.
