Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5 on April 7, it’s reported

It has been reported for a couple of years now that Starfield will be coming to other platforms. A new report from Dealabs has revealed that Starfield will come to PlayStation 5 on April 7, 2026. The game will have a physical edition, which is also expected to release on the same day.

Starfield on PS5 will have two editions: Standard and Premium. There won’t be early access for those who pre-order the Premium Edition, and the content within this edition has not been figured out yet.

Pre-orders for Starfield on PlayStation 5 are expected to start either on March 18, 2026, or on the evening of March 17.

If this turns out to be true, Microsoft and Bethesda should be announcing within the next couple of weeks. Other insiders have indicated this would happen in April before. There seems to be no plans to bring the 2023 title onto Switch 2 at this time.

Other content is expected to drop for Starfield as well for existing players, including other quality-of-life improvements.
