Now sitting just less than three weeks away from the arrival of the Xbox Series X, Microsoft is beginning to spill the beans on some of the advantages of picking up the system. While the firm has been very transparent on what players can anticipate on the next-generation system, the company goes into finer detail as to what else can be offered on the new hardware.

Specifically for games that will be supported on launch via Smart Delivery, current-gen titles are told to be available with unique enhancements that you could not find on the Xbox One or even the succeeding Xbox One X. To elaborate on that, The Coalition has shared some elements that will be tweaked running off the original version on current hardware.

Among the expected native 4K support and to target 120 frames per second, the developer also frames more upgrades for Gears 5 as well. That includes reduced latency for both campaign and multiplayer respectively. On Twitter, the team shares that the single player is facing a 36 percent decrease and online versus to receive a 57 percent reduction in input latency.

In the post, the developer does tell that specifically that depending on the targeted framerate will play into part on the performance of the latency adjustment. For 60 FPS, latency declines by roughly 20 percent while aiming to 120 FPS will further that close to 50 percent when playing Gears 5.

Recently, developer 343 Industries also spared information on how Halo: The Master Chief Collection will operate in regards to the coming Xbox Series X version. The team goes on by explaining that it will target a 4K resolution output alongside 120 frames per second on the new system. You can read the full report by heading here.
