Ubisoft hasn’t talked about the future of the mainline Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series since Ghost Recon Breakpoint in 2019. A new report from Insider Gaming suggests there will be a new game in the series coming within the next few years and the project is codenamed Ovr / Over.

As of now, the next Ghost Recon title will take place in the Naiman War and it’s planned to be released in 2025 – 2026. It will also see the franchise return to the first-person perspective, says the outlet. The game will also take inspiration from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series and Battlefield. Insider Gaming also says it’s best to compare Project Over to Ready or Not.

As always we have to take reports like this with a grain of salt, but Tom Henderson has been correct with Ubisoft-related leaks before.
