THQ Nordic held their Digital Showcase on Friday, August 11 and it came with surprise announcements that includes a new South Park game coming in 2024. The next bombshell was the appearance of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin that only received a teaser trailer sharing the game is in development.

Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. From the minds of the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers: the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin.

Earlier in the year a Paramount Executive confirmed TMNT: The Last Ronin was being adapted into a AAA action RPG. During the interview with Polygon at the time, Paramont Publishing Senior Vice President, Doug Rosen said the project is years away from release.

TMNT: The Last Ronin will be coming to Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5 and PC when the time comes.
