Battlefield 6 Season 3 Drops This Week And Includes Ranked RedSec

After the longing for a new first-person shooter to quench the thirst that Call of Duty hasn’t managed to achieve in recent years, Battlefield 6 released. Within the release of its first week, Battlefield 6 shipped over seven million units. And by the end of October, the war shooter shipped its own battle royale to counter Warzone with RedSec alongside Season 1 content.

In February earlier this year, DICE & Battlefield Studios rolled out Season 2 for Battlefield 6 which included a suite of new content for the multiplayer.

Now this week, Battlefield 6 Season 3 is due to release and with it comes another treasure trove of new content in periodic portions. You can read the full roadmap in the image below:

Redsec is to also receive Ranked alongside new weapons M16A4, RPK-74M, and L115.

Update Blastpoint later on will deliver map Cairo Bazaar alongside new mode Obliteration. “Obliteration is a battle to destroy enemy M-COMs (Military Communications) using bombs placed neutrally on each map. Both sides must risk everything to get the bomb, escort their carrier to the detonation site, and obliterate the enemy.” RedSec to receive limited-time event Explosive Charge then alongside weapon PP-19 & gadget Handheld Jammer.

“Every elite Battle Royale squad has to start somewhere: for those looking to learn the rules of engagement, practice their skills, or simply kick back with the squad, Casual Battle Royale adds a player-and-bot mixed combatant environment,” the new royale variant in High-Value Target Update will offer. There will also be a ‘tactical’ spin on Obliteration in the update alongside limited-time mode Wet Work and melee weapon EOD Bot Arm.
