Last year, fans of the landmark Nintendo DS series Cooking Mama grew ecstatic when the first sightings of a new installment surfaced on the internet. On German Ratings Board GSK, the title Cooking Mama: Cookstar emerged with a listing for both Nintendo Switch as PlayStation 4 that grew some friction for the series.
Follow suit the leak last year, it was shortly after that screenshots for the game were leaked revealing more meat of the matter and some of the changes along with new additions being settled into the new entry. Now this week, the trailer for the game has been discovered pinpointing a generalized time frame for when the game releases.
You can watch the trailer in the video below:
Illustrated from the brief trailer, we learn that the starring Mama is back once again with a new cookbook worth of recipes that players will be able to scrap together through different intuitive minigames. Specifically, it is shared that roughly 90 new recipes will be available in Cookstar when the game arrives.
Even more, the game also shares some sympathy for those with certain eating practices by introducing Vegetarian mode: this new feature will disregard meats of any sort when cooking dishes. Another modern aspect that players can indulge in when playing is given the ability to capture their food which then can be shared via Facebook or Twitter.
The main focus of the trailer is to advertise the Nintendo Switch version of the game, however, it must be noted that the game was also listed for PlayStation 4 also. As of yet, there is no word on where the game currently stand’s for Sony’s platform.
