The latest installment in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey released more than a month ago now and Ubisoft has revealed what’s to come for this month with new content, missions, and features.

Kicking off with missions, there will be two missions that will be added to the game: The Show Must Go On and Lost Tale of Greece, Divine Intervention. The first mission will have you pose as King Leonidas during the Battle of 300 for a theatrical act. The second will place you a set of trials that will take action and bravery to complete.

Ubisoft has also added Epic Events to the world of Ancient Greece to even out the odds against the descendent of Leonidas. Both epic mercenaries and ships will roam throughout the world, so watch out as they will be tough to defeat. On top of the intense combat already mentioned, Steropes the Cyclops has appeared and will need a high level character to defeat the mythical creature.

The Odysseus Pack will be coming this November as well in two variants: one for either Alexios/Kassandra featuring new gear & mount and a naval pack for the Adrestia. In relevance to customizable armor, there will be a new feature that will be allow players to choose which gear you want over the layer that holds the stats. The level cap for the game will also be pushed from level 50 to level 70.

A list of new mechanics will be coming this month, which you can read below:

  • Auto-crafting arrow
  • Gamepad customization
  • Decrease in cost for gear upgrades
  • XP Boosters

Rectify’s Dave Rodriguez told about Odyssey that its “core game is very strong. Visually it’s fantastic, the story is fun and the combat and skill tree system is really well developed”. You can read his full review here.
