Just last month, the first bit of information regarding Sony’s next installment in their line of PlayStation models was shared via an interview between tech outlet Wired and Mark Cerny detailing the hardware’s specs as well as other features that will be present with the inevitable console.

Now just yesterday, Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki shared via Twitter a video of the load times comparing the current PlayStation 4 to the presumable PlayStation 5.

In the video, Sony uses Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man to present the performance differences between the Pro-modeled PlayStation 4 and prototype model for the forthcoming next-gen PlayStation. Revealing that load times are hardly present on the new model compared to the contemporary PlayStation 4 Pro.

Along with presenting that the Pro does carry its weight when traversing through the city in the game, the PlayStation 5 minimizes some of the hiccups present when playing on the current model. Though Spider-Man isn’t a true next generation title, it does give a picture of what exactly Sony is focusing on with the upcoming platform.

Mochizuki added on by translating what was said during the presentation:

For the most part, it already starts to look bright for Sony as we inch closer to the predestined console reveal for the PlayStation 5. Already knowing the capabilities of the nearing console, it’s exciting to have a glimpse of it in action.
